Mac’s Back! Just waiting for his forever loving home.

Here’s what his foster mom says:

“Guess who is up for adoption!? After 10 weeks as an amazing foster pup, sweet Mac is ready to find his forever home! He came to us with his tail between his legs constantly; so much fear of what the world might hold. But he’s proven that with a lot of love, he can be a brave, brave boy, full of love of his own to give. He is most happy when he is exploring a trail; is an excellent walking buddy.

He gets along SO well with other dogs and has been a crowd favorite at his recent dog park visits."

Mac’s only limitation really is that, with his past trauma, he's really a one-person dog. He bonds so deeply with his human that he sometimes seems bothered by another person who's also heavily bonded to his.  He is fine meeting people on walks or in parks, & with people who come to visit. But whatever happened to him before makes him become very protective of his human.

His trainer and our instructors are working with this, but he does seem to be a one-person dog.

It takes him a little while to trust, but then he gives his heart.

We’re hoping that he’ll find a loving home with just a single person.

A home with other dogs would be a plus since he loves fellow pups; he’s still just under two years old so he has lots of energy to spend.
