Job Title: Part-Time Project Manager

Location: Forsyth County-based / Remote

Reports to: Board of Directors

 

Organization: Piedmont Animal Welfare Alliance (PAW Alliance)

PAW Alliance is a volunteer-driven nonprofit working at the intersection of animal welfare and social justice. We operate two core programs: a prison-based dog training and rehabilitation program, and a foster program supporting pets of domestic violence survivors.

 

We’re seeking a motivated and mission-driven Part-Time Project Manager — to support and grow these impactful programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Support day-to-day operations of both core programs alongside the Board.

Assist in developing and implementing marketing, outreach, and fundraising strategies.

Represent the organization at community events and through online channels.

Support grant writing, donor communications, and impact reporting.

Help establish and refine internal systems, processes, and documentation.

 

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

 

A passion for animal welfare, rehabilitation, and social impact.

Experience in nonprofit work, project coordination, or event planning.

Strong organizational, communication, and self-management skills.

Comfort working remotely and independently in a startup-like environment.

Ability to interact respectfully with individuals from a wide range of cultural, social, and experiential backgrounds.

Bonus: Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or community outreach.
