Bert

Bert - this handsome dog should be named kanga-”Roo” for his amusing four-legged hop straight up in the air when he is excited. He couldn’t be bouncier but adores a good hug and cuddle as well.

About 3 years old, Bert is in good weight at 40ish lbs with a striking brindle striped body and sparkling white chest and legs. The nearly perfect white blaze down his face only accents that one blue eye/one brown eye distinction. He is a definite All American, packing the best of a few worlds into his wiggling, waggling body. He loves a good treat but especially loves affection. â€‹

During the 10-weeks of training, New Leash on Life dogs are crate-trained and work on house and leash-training. Each dog adopted from New Leash on Life will also be up-to-date on all necessary vaccines (including rabies), microchipped and also be altered. Our dogs are also on monthly preventative medications as well. â€‹

Thanks to our friends at Davie County Animal Shelter for this handsome boy!
