Annie is sponsored and her trainer, Dennis, honored by "River," a NLOL alum from our 15th class. 

 

We call her "Annie of the Charming Spirit."

Annie is a petite tri-colored mix with striking golden eyes who is around 2 years old, and weighs around 38 pounds. 

 

Found as a stray, Annie's had a hard life. Likely chained for all, if not most of her life, she was in bad shape when she arrived at the Stokes Co. Shelter. But she's healthier now, and is really lapping up the love she's receiving from her trainer.  Annie is polite with people, and delighted to be able to play with other dogs.

As she's warmed up (and it takes her a little while, given her past), she's showing us she can be a bit of a rascal, too. We love it!

She's our charming young girl with an animated spirit, and she's willing just to hang out, as well.
